Frank Calderoni, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer


Frank Calderoni is the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Anaplan and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Frank is a technology industry veteran with over 30 years of successful executive leadership. Before joining Anaplan, Frank served as the Executive Vice President (EVP), Operations and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Red Hat, Inc. from June 2015 to January 2017. He also served as EVP and CFO at Cisco Systems, Inc. for seven years. Prior to that, he served as Cisco’s Senior Vice President (SVP), Customer Solutions Finance from June 2007 to February 2008, and Vice President, Worldwide Sales Finance from May 2004 to June 2007. Frank joined Cisco in 2004 from QLogic Corporation, where he was the SVP and CFO. Prior to that, he was the SVP, Finance & Administration and CFO for SanDisk Corporation. Earlier in his career, he spent 21 years at IBM. Frank also sits on the board of Adobe Systems, Inc. and served on the board of Palo Alto Networks, Inc. from 2016 to 2019.

David Conte, Board Member


David F. Conte has served as CFO of DataBricks, Inc. since October 2019. Prior to Databricks, David served as Senior VP and CFO of Splunk Inc., a data analytics company, from 2011 to June 2019 and CFO at IronKey, Inc., an internet security and privacy company, from 2009 to 2011. From 2007 to 2009, he was engaged in various personal investing activities. Previously, David served as CFO of Opsware, Inc., a software company, from 2006 until 2007, when Opsware was acquired by HP. He also served as Opsware’s VP of Finance from 2003 to 2006 and as Corporate Controller from 1999 to 2003. David began his career at Ernst & Young LLP. He holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Sandesh Patnam, Board Member


Sandesh Patnam leads the technology investing practice at Premji Invest, a large, multi-strategy asset manager. From 2010 to 2014, Sandesh was an investment officer and senior equity analyst with the Seligman Technology Group at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC, where he helped manage more than $6 billion in long-only and long/short investment vehicles. Previously, he was a general partner at venture capital firm Bay Partner. Prior to Bay Partners, he was with TeleSoft, a technology-focused venture capital firm. Sandesh holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. from the University of Rochester, NY.

Sue Bostrom, Board Member


Sue Bostrom currently serves on the board of directors for Cadence Design Systems, an electronic design software company; ServiceNow, an enterprise SaaS platform; and Nutanix, Inc., a public cloud computing software company, since October 2017. She also serves on the board of Druva, Inc., a cloud-based data management company, since October 2018; and GitLab Inc., a DevOps company, since April 2019. Previously, she served as a board member for: Varian Medical Systems, a medical device manufacturer; Spredfast, a private social marketing SaaS company; and two technology companies (Marketo and Rocket Fuel) through their IPO processes and subsequent acquisitions. From 1997 to 2011, Sue worked at Cisco Systems Inc. in a variety of roles, culminating in five years as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Sue developed Cisco’s vision and strategy through positioning, branding, advertising, and product marketing, and was responsible for Cisco’s Worldwide Government Affairs and Small Business Council. Prior to serving as CMO, Bostrom built and led Cisco’s Internet Business Solutions Group, bringing best practices to global Fortune 500 companies and heads of state. Sue holds B.S. in business from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Bob Beauchamp, Board Member


Robert E. (Bob) Beauchamp is currently the Chairman of BMC Software Inc. and formerly served as the software company’s President and CEO from 2001-2016 and interim CEO from April 2019 through September 2019. Throughout his 30 years with BMC Software, Bob held a variety of leadership roles. In addition to information technology and cybersecurity, he brings significant experience to Anaplan in the areas of strategic planning, risk management, global operations, sales, finance, and mergers and acquisitions.

He is currently a board member of ThoughtTrace, Inc., and previously served on the boards of Forcepoint LLC, Raytheon, Inc., National Oilwell Varco, Inc. and TransUnion LLC. He earned a Master of Science from Houston Baptist University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.

Suresh Vasudevan, Board Member


Suresh Vasudevan has served as a member of our board of directors since April 2019. Since February 2018, Mr. Vasudevan has served as the chief executive officer of Sysdig, Inc. Prior to joining Sysdig, Mr. Vasudevan was the president and chief executive officer of Nimble Storage, Inc. from March 2011 until its acquisition by Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) in May 2017. He was also a director of Nimble Storage from September 2009 until May 2017, serving as chairman of the board from September 2013 until May 2017. Prior to Nimble Storage, he was the chief executive officer of Omneon (acquired by Harmonic Inc.), from 2009 to 2011 and previously served as a member of the executive team at NetApp as senior vice president, overseeing all product operations from 1999 to 2008. Mr. Vasudevan also served at the management consulting firm McKinsey & Co. in New Delhi, Mumbai, and Chicago as a senior engagement manager from 1993 to 1998. Mr. Vasudevan holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, with honors, from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) in Pilani, India and an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Calcutta, India.

Yvonne Wassenaar , Board Member

Yvonne Wassenaar joined our board of directors in November 2019. She brings extensive experience in the technology industry with a focus on leading organizations through digital transformation and global expansion. She is currently the CEO of Puppet, an infrastructure-as-code company, and previously served as CEO of Airware, a pioneer in the commercial drone market. Prior to Airware, Ms. Wassenaar served as CIO and SVP of Operations at New Relic, where she was instrumental in the company’s IPO and post-public transition. She has also served in a variety of executive roles at VMWare and was previously a Partner at Accenture where she advised tech clients including Apple, eBay, NetApp, VMWare, HP and others. Since 2017, Ms. Wassenaar has been an Independent Director of Forrester Research, Inc. and she serves as a Board Trustee of Harvey Mudd College. She also served on the board of directors at Mulesoft, Inc. prior to its acquisition.

Allan Leinwand, Board Member

Allan Leinwand has served as a member of our board of directors since February 2020. Since December 2018, Allan Leinwand has served as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Slack Technologies, Inc. Before joining Slack, Mr. Leinwand was Chief Technology Officer at ServiceNow, Inc., an enterprise software company, from August 2012 through December 2018. Previously, he has also served as the Chief Technology Officer of Infrastructure at Zynga Inc., as a venture partner at Panorama Capital, and as an operating partner at JPMorgan Partners. He also founded Vyatta, Inc., an open-source networking company acquired by Brocade Communications Systems. Mr. Leinwand served on the board of directors of Marin Software, Inc. from October 2013 to June 2018. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder.

Brooke Major-Reid, Board Member


Ms. Major-Reid has served as SVP, Capital Markets & Treasury at Affirm, Inc., a financial services company, since May 2021.

Before joining Affirm, Ms. Major-Reid served as Corporate Treasurer of Macy’s, Inc., an omnichannel retailer, from April 2019 to May 2021. Ms. Major-Reid was the SVP, Head of Strategy, at Cross River, a FinTech Bank, from 2017 to 2019. She founded BEAMR Group Inc. in 2015, providing strategic and financial advice to startup companies, with a focus on woman- and minority-founded enterprises. She also led short-term credit products businesses, among other senior roles, at Morgan Stanley. Ms. Major-Reid also serves as a board member for Uncommon Schools, a nonprofit charter school management organization. 

Ms. Major-Reid brings to our Board exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of optimizing client relationships and identifying untapped business opportunities in under-penetrated and high-potential market segments. Ms. Major-Reid is a seasoned, entrepreneurial finance and strategy executive with over 15 years of experience in structured finance origination, short-term credit product marketing, analytics, institutional capital raising, and business development.

Ms. Major-Reid holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BBA in International Business with a concentration in Finance from Howard University.
