Frank Calderoni, President, Chief Executive Officer

Frank Calderoni is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Anaplan and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Frank is a technology industry veteran with over 30 years of successful executive leadership. Before joining Anaplan, Frank served as the Executive Vice President (EVP), Operations and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Red Hat, Inc. from June 2015 to January 2017. He also served as EVP and CFO at Cisco Systems, Inc. for seven years. Prior to that, he served as Cisco’s Senior Vice President (SVP), Customer Solutions Finance from June 2007 to February 2008, and Vice President, Worldwide Sales Finance from May 2004 to June 2007. Frank joined Cisco in 2004 from QLogic Corporation, where he was the SVP and CFO. Prior to that, he was the SVP, Finance & Administration and CFO for SanDisk Corporation. Earlier in his career, he spent 21 years at IBM. Frank also sits on the boards of Adobe Systems, Inc., and Palo Alto Networks, Inc.

Rob Ward, Managing Director & Co-founder, Meritech Capital

Rob co-founded Meritech in 1999. His current areas of investment interest include Big Data, cloud computing, Saas, security and online consumer services. Rob led Meritech’s successful investments in Acclarent (JNJ), BigFix (IBM), Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD), Counterpane (BT), Fortinet (FTNT), Greenplum (EMC), Imperva (IMPV), Netezza (IBM), NetSuite (N), PopCap Games (ERTS), Quigo (AOL), Reliant (SLTM) and Zipcar (ZIP). Prior to Meritech, Rob was a principal in the Private Equity Group at Montgomery Securities, and worked in the New York and San Francisco Corporate Finance Departments at Smith Barney.

Standish O'Grady, Managing Director, Granite Ventures

Standish is a co-founder of Granite Ventures and joined the Anaplan board in January 2012 when Granite invested as part of Anaplan’s Series B financing round. Standish co-founded Granite as the early-stage venture capital group within Hambrecht & Quist in 1992, and co-led establishing Granite as an independent firm in 1998 growing Granite to over $1 billion of funds under management. Standish previously served in various positions within Hambrecht & Quist’s venture capital business from 1984 to 1998. He focuses on investments in software companies. Standish currently serves on the Board of Directors for Anaplan, Crowd Science, HyTrust and SellPoint.

Ravi Mohan, Managing Director, Shasta Ventures

Ravi is a co-founder of Shasta Ventures and joined the Anaplan board in January 2012 when Shasta invested as part of Anaplan’s Series B financing round. Prior to co-founding Shasta, Ravi was a general partner at Battery Ventures, where he led eight investments and served on the boards of 12 software and technology-enabled service companies. Before that, Ravi built transaction-processing systems at Accenture, sold and implemented software applications for Hyperion Software Corp. and ran MIC, a software development firm based in India focused on selling business-intelligence solutions to multinational corporations. Ravi also spent time at McKinsey & Co. working with CPG companies.

David Conte, Board Member

David F. Conte has served as Splunk’s Senior VP and CFO since 2011. Prior to Splunk, David served as CFO at IronKey, Inc., an internet security and privacy company, from 2009 to 2011. From 2007 to 2009, he was engaged in various personal investing activities. Previously, David served as CFO of Opsware, Inc., a software company, from 2006 until 2007, when Opsware was acquired by HP. He also served as Opsware’s VP of Finance from 2003 to 2006 and as Corporate Controller from 1999 to 2003. David began his career at Ernst & Young LLP. He holds a B.A. from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Sandesh Patnam, Board Member

Sandesh Patnam leads the technology investing practice at Premji Invest, a large, multi-strategy asset manager. From 2010 to 2014, Sandesh was an investment officer and senior equity analyst with the Seligman Technology Group at Columbia Management Investment Advisers, LLC, where he helped manage more than $6 billion in long-only and long/short investment vehicles. Previously, he was a general partner at venture capital firm Bay Partner. Prior to Bay Partners, he was with TeleSoft, a technology-focused venture capital firm. Sandesh holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. from the University of Rochester, NY.

Sue Bostrom, Board Member

Sue Bostrom currently serves on the board of directors for Varian Medical Systems, a medical device manufacturer; Cadence Design Systems, an electronic design software company; and ServiceNow, an enterprise SaaS platform. She also serves on the board of Spredfast, a private social marketing SaaS company, and served as a board member for two technology companies (Marketo and Rocket Fuel) through their IPO processes and subsequent acquisitions. From 1997 to 2011, Sue worked at Cisco Systems Inc. in a variety of roles, culminating in five years as Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. Sue developed Cisco’s vision and strategy through positioning, branding, advertising, and product marketing, and was responsible for Cisco’s Worldwide Government Affairs and Small Business Council. Prior to serving as CMO, Bostrom built and led Cisco’s Internet Business Solutions Group, bringing best practices to global Fortune 500 companies and heads of state. Sue holds B.S. in business from the University of Illinois and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Bob Beauchamp, Board Member

Robert E. (Bob) Beauchamp is currently the Chairman of BMC Software Inc. and formerly served as the software company’s President and CEO from 2001-2016. Throughout his 30 years with BMC Software, Bob held a variety of leadership roles. In addition to information technology and cybersecurity, he brings significant experience to Anaplan in the areas of strategic planning, risk management, global operations, sales, finance, and mergers and acquisitions.

He is currently a board member of Agile Upstream, Forcepoint LLC, Raytheon, Inc., and TransUnion, and previously served on the board of National Oilwell Varco. He earned a Master of Science from Houston Baptist University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin.
